Md Tawkir Ahmed is a transport researcher. He is currently pursuing Masters in Transportation Engineering at Tongji Univesity. His research interest includes road safety modeling, mode choice modeling, transportation planning and land use modeling, street networks, transportation safety and human factors, geometry design and roadway Safety, work zone safety and mobility, traffic flow modeling and simulation, intelligent transportation systems, traffic Sensing and information technology, transportation logistics and optimization, transportation safety. He is also the reviewer of Transport Research Record (TRR) Journal and Transport Research Board (TRB) conference, and Transport Research Interdisciplinary Perspectives (TRIP) Journal. Associate Ambassadors in Bentham Open publication in Bangladesh region.
